Asian Style Lettuce Wraps

asian style lettuce wraps close up on plateLettuce wraps are a great way to fill up without the carbs. With just some ground turkey and a bit of spice, these are easy to make and done in under thirty! The healthiest fillings to use are ground chicken or turkey, but you can use ground beef or even pork if you prefer. The water chestnuts and peanuts give it a bit of crunch and if you are looking for more flavor, try adding some mushrooms! This recipe is great because it is customizable and easy to double or triple depending on the size of crew you’re feeding. Butter lettuce is best for this recipe but can be hard to find. Boston lettuce or just a leafy romaine does work too though. The absolutely best part of making this is using our 3 Qt. Ceramic Coated ID21 Steel Saute Skillet. Our coated pans are so easy to clean and cooking on them is a dream. Nothing sticks!! Happy Cooking!

Sensational Shrimp Boil Recipe

shrimp boil in stockpot If you are looking for a fun outdoor recipe with little cleanup, look no further! We have a delicious recipe for the easiest shrimp boil ever…so good, we are calling it the “Sensational Shrimp Boil.” Cooking it right here at Chantal was a total hit. Our Enamel-on-Steel is one of the best products we have, in my opinion, when it comes to clean-up time. You would think after shrimp, potatoes, and corn were cooking for over half an hour, it would be difficult to clean. Nope! It took about 5 minutes to get the pot looking like it had never been used.
There are no utensils needed for this one. In fact, most shrimp boils are served on some newspaper or parchment paper, so you can leave the plates out too. Celebrate 4th of July with this great recipe that the kids and adults alike will love! All of our stockpots are on sale from now until July 6th, 2020, so celebrate the savings as well! Happy Independence Day to all of our Chantal Customers!

Beer-braised Pork sliders and Skillet Mac N’ Cheese For Dad

They say the best way to a man’s heart is  through his stomach, so you can’t go wrong making Dad happy with these yummy recipes. Perfect for Father’s Day celebrations are the Beer-braised Pulled Pork Sliders and our Skillet Mac n’ Cheese.  The pork is braised by searing first and then cooking in beer at a low oven temperature for 4 hours. This makes the meat just fall apart, so it saves time on shredding. Add a little of Dad’s favorite BBQ sauce and you are done! We put the pulled pork on slider buns and topped with coleslaw. The recipe only calls for 1 cup of sauce, so if saucier is your thing, spread a little extra on the buns before serving. This is a great recipe for picnics and perfect for the summertime. Make it a meal with Skillet Mac n’ Cheese. This creamy, cheesy recipe is full of all of his favorite ingredients and the cookware is gorgeous enough to go straight from stove/oven to table! Chantal’s 3-Piece Cast Iron Set comes with the 5 Qt Dutch Oven and 10 Inch Skillet. I was pleasantly surprised after making these recipes by how EASY they are to clean. I was nervous at first, because most of the time after something has been in the oven for 4 hours or has anything to do with cheese, it sticks …Not with these pieces. They were hand washed in under 5 minutes! Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there; and happy eating!

Chorizo & Bean Stew Recipe

We love cooking for you and coming up with creative recipes to make in our cookware. This week’s recipe is the Chorizo & Bean stew. There are two cooking times included in these step-by-step instructions that allow you to make a soup or a hearty stew…it’s all about the cook time! We used kidney beans for this recipe based on what was available at the grocery store, but the traditional Spanish version of this yummy dish requires white beans. Whichever you use, it will come out great! Also, the recipe calls for chorizo sausage, hence the name! This is what gives it is bright red, vibrant hue and spicy flavor, however, you can always use ground turkey or even just regular pork sausage. Feel free to substitute however you like! It is a very forgiving recipe to most substitutions. Our 6 Qt. Induction 21 Steel Casserole is great for this stew. It cooks beautifully and is a gorgeous piece of cookware to serve in. Click links to view recipe and purchase piece! If the 6 Qt. is not going to be enough, you can simply double the recipe and purchase our 12 Qt. Induction 21 Stockpot!! Happy Cooking!

Ginger Onion Tea

When trying to stay healthy in times of sickness, it is always a good idea to have some homeopathic solutions! We here at Chantal heard of an onion ginger tea… at first, no one was real keen on the idea, so we made it and tried it. Although it is probably not something you would crave as a refreshing beverage on a normal day, this one is great for congestion and sore throat. It tastes just like onion broth.  Onions are an excellent source of antioxidants and also contain antibacterial properties.  Ginger is also known for its ability to help with the common cold. It too is a powerful antioxidant and helps with inflammation. The recipe is below. Please note that we are not giving medical advice, just sharing what we do during cold/flu season to help ease symptoms. Visit to learn more.
