Tea Steep Use & Care Instructions
Please read all instructions before using your Tea Steep.

Helpful Hints:
Always use filtered water - it tastes better and will allow the full flavor of the tea to be enjoyed.
Before first use, wash tea pot in hot soapy water, rinse and dry.
The tea pot is dishwasher safe. We recommend using Chantal Enamel and Ceramic Cleaner to make your pot "shine".
Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach or strong abrasive cleaners.
To prevent chipping or breakage, do not drop or knock against sides of sink.
If you have any questions, please call 1-800-365-4354 and ask for Chantal Customer Service. Any Chantal Ceramics to be returned for evaluation must be authorized by Chantal's Customer Service Department.

Step 1: When using a tea infuser, be sure to fill the infuser only 1/2 full so the tea leaves have enough room to infuse (expand) properly. Insert infuser into lid by lining up notches on rim of infuser with notches on inside rim of lid.
Step 2: Rotate infuser 90 degrees to lock into position.
Step 3: Insert infuser/lid unit into tea pot by lining up notch on tea pot with tab on infuser. Then rotate 90 degrees.
Handle, spout and lid knob should all be lined up horizontally.
To remove tea infuser after steeping:
ALWAYS USE A POTHOLDER WHEN HANDLING TEA POT AND INFUSER.
Step 1: Rotate lid 90 degrees and lift to remove infuser/lid unit.
Step 2: Place infuser/lid unit in sink. Rotate lid 90 degrees and lift lid out of infuser. Empty tea leaves and rinse with water.
